Examination of Preservation Practice By Adapating An Existing Structure To Create New Contemporary Programming For Public Spaces.
Statement of Design:
This adaptive reuse design project will focus on rethinking the buildings structure. This will be completed through the design methodology, the acts, of pushing, corroding, molding and grabbing of the buildings structure.
Relationships:
These images convey the topographic effects of this area. Main topography lines, which are lines that connect equal elevation points, are shifted to fit the needs of industry wihile residences and smaller businesses simpley conform to it.
